British Back Biometrics

A recent online poll of 2000 consumers shows that 8 out of 10 Brits ” are willing to using biometric security measures like fingerprint recognition, instead of traditional alphanumeric passwords.”
With the growing familiarity of fingerprint scanners built into mobile devices, it’s no surprise that customers of the UK financial service are keen to have them also integrated into digital banking services.
However, with every new fledgling trend, there is a repeated failing for it to be properly integrated into everyday life to the point where a fad becomes a norm. Biometrics needs to move forward more strongly, to elicit expectation, rather than surprise.
